This post is all about Christmas activities for toddlers.
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas season is here, and it's all that your kids can talk about!
Keep the excitement alive with these educational Christmas activities for toddlers and preschoolers! Each theme covers literacy, math, STEM, gross motor, crafts, and fine motor through hands-on play!
These four different Christmas toddler curriculum themes include everything you could think of to create Christmas excitement in your home or classroom!
CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES FOR TODDLERS
Reindeer Theme
Fill the days with excitement through these reindeer and Rudolph activities. Children create their name on a set of lights wrapped around the silly reindeer's head for a name recognition activity. Hands-on math by finishing or creating their own reindeer patterns. Another fun hands-on math activity is for children to build the ten frames to match the number on the cards. They can use Play-Doh, pom poms, mini erasers, or buttons. Build their fine motor strength by lacing the reindeer card. Don't forget the fun STEM activities. The reindeer nose wind challenge was a huge hit! Kids will help the reindeer out by building a ramp.

Christmas Gifts Theme
Another cute Christmas activity for toddlers is a Christmas gifts theme! Children will build literacy awareness and letter recognition through play. Use gift wrapping paper to build the letter Gg and fine motor skills. Children will pack the gift train by counting the gifts and putting them in counting sequence order. Add extra fun by using gift bows to sort by color or size. Put some shredded festive paper, pieces of ribbon, gift tags, and bows in a sensory bin for hands-on counting through play. Mystery gift bags and more!

Christmas Bakery Theme
Is there a cuter idea other than a Christmas bakery theme? Children will build their literacy and math skills through various hands-on play. Such as circling all of the letter Bb's on the Bakery menu. Building the letter Bb with cupcake liners. They'll create their own bakery and call it their name for a cute name recognition activity. Children will be little bakers by sorting the sprinkles and counting how many cookies they need to bake. I think this STEM activity will be one they ask to do on repeat. I know it was here.

Santa's Helpers Theme
You can't forget the Santa's Helpers activities for Christmas excitement! The children will love being Santa's little helpers with these educational activities. Children will trace or build letters on cookies for Santa. They must help pack Santa's sleigh by packing the amount of toys on the toy cards. Roll the dice to build a toy tower that high. Dress the elf by placing the correct number of buttons. Decorate the tree craft and sensory bin! Let the children create a masterpiece by shaking jingle bells in paint. Children will build exploration through repairing Santa's sleigh.

These hands-on Christmas activities for toddlers are extremely detailed and organized. They come complete with detailed lesson plans for each day of the week. The lesson plans are designed for parents, daycare providers, homeschool, daycare centers, or any other early childhood education program. You won't need to supplement with these toddler curriculum activities because they cover everything and include all of the templates to complete the daily lessons!
