They'll enjoy practicing letters in clouds, counting raindrops, weather crafts, making it rain, creating a tornado, and creating their own clouds through STEM. Add the name recognition activity for door decoration.
St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick's Day brings so many fun ideas, from catching that tricky leprechaun to rainbow fun. These St. Patrick's Day crafts and lesson plans are not short on rainbow activities. Your toddlers will love counting the gold coins in the tricky leprechaun's pot, creating an alphabet rainbow, finding the lucky letter, and feeding the leprechaun. We can't forget the STEM activities, creating their own lucky eruption, lucky lava lamp, or trapping a leprechaun.
Birds & Nest
Spring activities can't be complete without birds and nest crafts. In this toddler curriculum theme, your toddlers will work on sorting by color, size, feeding the baby birds worms, and matching the baby birds to the correct nest. They'll build their fine motor skills and literacy skills by writing the letters from the baby birds in birdseed. Your toddler will especially love playing in the bird seed sensory bin, feeding the birds. The name craft activity will be the perfect spring door decoration, too.
Signs of Spring
In this week's toddler curriculum, your toddler will learn through hands-on spring activities and crafts. With it being the beginning of spring, is there a better spring activity than planting your own seeds? They will be able to watch the roots grow as the seedling pops through the dirt. They'll learn early literacy by matching seeds to the correct flower pots and creating their own flower garden name craft. For math, they'll create a spring picture by placing the numbers in the correct counting order. Or build a caterpillar before their very eyes by rolling a die and counting.
Your toddlers will be eager to learn through these hands-on activities play-based learning toddler curriculum. Each weekly theme comes with five complete daily lessons. Daily lessons include literacy, math, fine motor or craft activity, STEM or science experiment, gross motor, and sensory bin ideas!
